A meeting of the Board of Trustees of
the Village of Trenton, NE, was convened in open and public session, Monday, August
21, 2017 at 6:30p.m. at the Village Office. Present: Chairman McArthur,
Trustees Lewis, McDonald and Wimer, Clerk McKain, Attorney Schroeder, Dave
Belleau, Kit Ellis and Jessy Kaufman. Board member Neely was absent. Availability
of the agenda was communicated in advance notice and in the notice sent to the
Chairman and Trustees of the meeting. All proceedings hereafter shown were
taken while the meeting was open to the public.
Roll Call was taken at 6:00pm and
quorum was verified.

Citizen
Forum: Ms. Ellis
donated playing cards to the fire department and provided an idea for a fund raiser.
Motion
made by McDonald and second by Lewis to approve agenda. Ayes: Lewis, McArthur, and
McDonald. Nays: None. Abstain: Wimer. Absent: Neely. Motion carried.
Motion
made by Lewis and second by McDonald to approve the August 8, 2017 meeting
minutes. Ayes: Lewis, McArthur, and McDonald. Nays: None. Abstain: Wimer. Absent:
Neely. Motion carried.

Resolution: None.
New Business: Public Hearing on a nuisance
property located on Main Street. McArthur provided exhibits documenting the
nuisance issues on July 25, 2017 and August 21, 2017. Mr. Belleau stated they
had sprayed the weeds and need additional time to remove. The Board granted
Mr. Belleau until November 14, 2017 to complete the clean-up. Discussion on El
Dorado Manor was made. Attorney Schroeder provided information on a boundary
line agreement received. Schroeder researched the issue and advised the board he
found no issues with the agreement. Motion by Lewis and second by McDonald to
authorize McArthur to sign the boundary line agreement. Ayes: Lewis, McArthur,
McDonald, and Wimer. Nays: None. Absent: Neely. Motion carried.

14, 2017 at 6:30pm in the Village Office. Note the day change as a quorum was
not available on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
